“What legal requirements are necessary to get married in Paris?”

In order to be legally married in France, the biggest obstacle for most foreigners is that one of the couple must be a legal resident in the district in France in which they plan to marry for a minimum of 40 consecutive days. Apart from that, there is also a host of additional paperwork which must be filed and submitted in order to be allowed a French civil ceremony. You are also not allowed a religious ceremony in France without first having had a civil one.

Because of the above restrictions, many of our overseas clients choose to have a civil ceremony in their home country, followed by a symbolic vow-affirmation ceremony here in Paris. These celebrations allow couples to have all of the glamour and romance of a destination wedding, without getting tangled up in red-tape.

Take a look at this past blog post which gives you the Skinny on Getting Married in Paris.

“What are your packages and pricing?”

Over the years, we’ve found that by keeping a smaller clientele set, we’re able to offer our clients a unique, personalized experience with an unparalleled level of service.  Because of this commitment to experience and ingenuity, we do not offer packages, and price quotes are given on an individual basis, based on total event logistics, guest count, time of year, etc.

If you’d like more information about our services, please feel free to email us with the details about your upcoming celebration at contact{at}parisianevents.com or use the contact form on this website.
